Nano Film Festival 2022 – a Cinematic Celebration of Young Filmmakers in Kraków

On October 21–23, 2022, the first edition of the Nano Film Festival – an international review of short fiction films, partnered by Rosco Polska – took place in Kraków.

The festival was created with young and debuting filmmakers in mind—those looking for a space to present their films on the big screen and an opportunity to meet audiences, jurors, and film professionals. The program included competition screenings, workshops, meetings with authors, as well as accompanying events dedicated to contemporary forms of short fiction.

All screenings were held at Kino Kijów, one of the most recognizable film venues in Kraków. During the three festival days, the audience could enjoy a wide range of films—from student etudes to independent productions from Poland and abroad.

Rosco Polska supports initiatives that promote creativity, debuts, and artistic courage. The Nano Film Festival fits perfectly into this mission: it is an open and welcoming event created for those taking their first steps in filmmaking, often producing works of remarkable freshness and expressive power.

We thank all filmmakers, participants, and partners for celebrating cinema with us in its shortest, yet often most intense form. We already invite you to the future editions of the festival.
